Expanding beyond Demos and into the curriculum!
A major goal of our DoseNet project is to find ways to get into on-going classroom activities and contribute to the science curriculum in any way that we can. We were invited to speak with teachers at our two pilot schools, Pinewood School and Campolindo High School, about the data that is collected by our network, radiation in our environment, and the possibilities for students to work with our data and our devices in hands-on ways. We hope to start building out some classroom activities around our data and our sensor systems going forward.
