Aaron Ely
Aaron is a rising freshman at Basis Independent Fremont, he’s working on taking data and putting it on a map therefore allowing for portable Dosenet sensors to display accurate location data as well as sensor data. He’s looking for ways to apply some of his coding, math, and geography knowledge, and in his free time he enjoys swimming, reading, and learning new things.
Aditya Arunachalam
Aditya is a rising sophomore at Basis Independent Fremont, working with seismic sensors and analyzing data taken from Dosenet’s sensors. He’s interested in computer science, math, and physics, and in his free time, enjoys following basketball and baseball.
Aiden Wu
I am an 8th grader at KLS - Khan Lab School in Mountain View, California. My interests are coding, math, and science. In my free time, I enjoy playing Minecraft and hanging out with my friends. My favorite vacations involve skiing, surfing, and exploring. My involvement with the UCB Radwatch team has been a terrific experience!
Akhil Karthik
Akhil is a current freshman at UC Berkeley and is planning to major in physics. He is currently working on using deep learning/machine learning for isotope classification and is utilizing his skills in Keras and sklearn. His eventual goal is to be conducting research in high energy astrophysics/nuclear physics.
Dylan Odwyer
Hi, I am Dylan I am a fourth year undergraduate studying mechanical engineering with a concentration in aerospace engineering. I currently work on iterative designs for the sensors that RadWatch has.
Justin Ely
Justin is a senior at Basis Independent Fremont interested in the fields of physics and engineering. At DoseNet, he currently works on spectral analysis, writing code to analyze data from radiation detectors.
Kevin Wu
Kevin is a rising senior at Monta Vista High School, is currently working on companion smartphone interfaces for portable DoseNet systems, as well as software for a new rooftop sodium iodide scintillator detector. He is interested in computer science and aerospace, and enjoys participating in puzzle hunts and capture the flag competitions in his free time with friends.
Samuel McClanahan
Samuel is an upcoming sophmore at Lowell High School, and is looking into new designs for portable environmental sensor systems. He is interested in data analysis, computer-aided design, and research.
Victor Luo
Victor is a rising junior at Mission San Jose High School, and he is working on an interface for a newer sensor for a portable sensor system. He’s interested in math, computer science, and data analysis, and likes reading and creating art in his free time.
Zainab Alyosha
Zainab is an aspiring student at UC Berkeley majoring in Energy Engineering, Zainab is passionate about promoting the widespread adoption of sustainable energy and leveraging her engineering skills to improve renewable energy production. She focuses on developing innovative technologies for efficient energy storage and is committed to minimizing environmental impact.
