Aaron Ely
Aaron is a rising freshman at Basis Independent Fremont, he’s working on taking data and putting it on a map therefore allowing for portable Dosenet sensors to display accurate location data as well as sensor data. He’s looking for ways to apply some of his coding, math, and geography knowledge, and in his free time he enjoys swimming, reading, and learning new things.
Adam Hsuan
Adam is a senior at California High School, analyzing soil samples to determine the presence and relative proportions of specific isotopes. He’s also investigating models for predicting background radiation levels, to be used to identify abnormal shifts in radiation trends.
Aditya Arunachalam
Aditya is a rising sophomore at Basis Independent Fremont, working with seismic sensors and analyzing data taken from Dosenet’s sensors. He’s interested in computer science, math, and physics, and in his free time, enjoys following basketball and baseball.
Ahsa Lal
Asha is an undergraduate at UC Berkeley majoring in Data Science. This summer, they are working on research that tries to understand the influence of home life, hobbies, and school programs that keep students engaged in STEM subjects.
Aiden Wu
I am an 8th grader at KLS - Khan Lab School in Mountain View, California. My interests are coding, math, and science. In my free time, I enjoy playing Minecraft and hanging out with my friends. My favorite vacations involve skiing, surfing, and exploring. My involvement with the UCB Radwatch team has been a terrific experience!
Ajith Araiza-Singh
Ajith is a rising junior at El Cerrito High School. He is working on software development for mobile DoseNet radiation and climate sensors. He has an interest in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, and works on projects in both of those fields. In his free time he enjoys pursuing photography.
Akhil Karthik
Akhil is a current freshman at UC Berkeley and is planning to major in physics. He is currently working on using deep learning/machine learning for isotope classification and is utilizing his skills in Keras and sklearn. His eventual goal is to be conducting research in high energy astrophysics/nuclear physics.

Akhila Krishnan is a rising sophomore at Lowell High School working on measuring volatile organic compounds in the air and assembling a radon sensor.
Bhavishyaa Vignesh
Bhavishyaa is a 14-year-old Space Tech and AI enthusiast, TEDx speaker, and winner of the Canadian Space Agency BrainHack Hackathon. She currently interns at UC Berkeley and SkyServe, where she explores cutting-edge applications of AI and edge computing in space.
Bolor Battulga
Bolor is a rising senior at Albany High School. He loves to watch tv shows, movies, and hang out with his friends. This summer, he is interning at UC Berkeley RadWatch and is interested in computer science and plans to pursue it in college.
Bruhatt Rao
Bruhatt is a rising high school junior at California High School, working on sound dampening for the roof centrifuge system. He's passionate about computer science, audio engineering, and AI/ML. Outside of school, he builds tech projects, competes in hackathons, runs a startup called Covo Labs, and plays bass guitar.
David Zhan
David is a junior at Albany High School who is interested in computer science. He is a swimmer and loves to go skiing. He developed a web tool for data visualisation that can dynamically restrict the data viewed by its timestamp.
Ed Bogoslovskiy
Ed is a high school junior at Davidson Academy. At DoseNet, he is testing the effect of nuclear power plants on background ionizing radiation. In his free time, he likes to fix bicycles and play basketball.
Erone Cao
Erone is a science teacher in Dixon. He received his chemistry degree from UC Berkeley, and completed his teaching credential with CalTeach. He analyzed radiation data and developed curriculum during his time at RadWatch. Hobbies include video games, anime, and tennis.
Ethan Fang
Ethan is a rising senior at Castro Valley High School. He is interested in coding and data science. He's currently working on studying the relationship between air quality (specifically from the last few fire seasons) and radiation. In his free time, he like to play tennis, violin, and basketball.
Ethan Irwin
Ethan Irwin is a rising Junior at Albany High School. He enjoys skateboarding, watching sports, hanging out with friends, and is interested in pursuing a career in Computer Science. This Summer he is working on setting up and collecting data from a distance sensor.
Gaurav Agarwal
Gaurav Agarwal is a rising senior at Dublin High. He is currently an intern at UC Berkeley RadWatch and is working on a peak detection algorithm for radiation data that finds time ranges of interest. He is interested in computer science and engineering, and plans to pursue it in college.
Jonathan Lee
Jonathan is a rising junior at Northgate High School, working with DoseNet radiation sensors in order to analyze/model data. He is interested in computer science, math, and music. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports or watching horror movies.
Jordan Tran
Jordan is a rising senior currently attending Castro Valley High School. He is interested in majoring in Computer Engineering, and also interested in exploring the field of nuclear science through RadWatch. This summer, he got the opportunity to work on a Data Science project with NASA, and spends his free time watching basketball and doing photography.

Josue Banuelos is an undergraduate student majoring in Applied Mathematics at the University of California, Merced. He is pursuing a math teaching career through the CalTeach Program.
Justin Ely

Kanishk Krishna
Kanishk is a rising sophomore at Cal High School. He is currently working on connecting different types of sensors and interfacing them with an IoT platform. This summer he hopes to learn how to build applications that are complex in shape but smooth in flow, by using platforms and tools like Node-RED. In his free time, he likes to play basketball and soccer.
Kevin Yan
Kevin Yan is a rising senior at Albany High School. He enjoys playing basketball, watching movies, going snowboarding, and also enjoys sneaker culture. He is a diehard Charlotte Hornets fans. He is interested in Computer Science and plans on pursuing a career in Computer Science.

My name is Mahin, and I’m a junior at California High School. This summer I’ve been working on building a drone based system to map radiation, combining my interests in nuclear science, engineering, and programming. I love creating projects that merge hardware and software to solve real world problems. Outside of academics, I play Badminton, practice Taekwondo, and enjoy competing in hackathons where I get to design and build innovative solutions.

Mariah is a rising fourth year undergraduate student majoring in Pure Mathematics at UC Berkeley. She is planning on receiving a teaching credential through the CalTeach program. In her free time, she enjoys watching psychological thrillers, reading, sleeping, and solving rubik cubes.

Pranav is a rising senior at California High School, actively working on developing an innovative drone-based system for radiation mapping at UC Berkeley. He is passionate about AI/ML, engineering, entrepreneurship, and combining hardware and software to create impactful real-world solutions that address critical challenges. Beyond academics, Pranav enjoys playing soccer, hiking in nature, and capturing moments through photography.
Richie Woo
Richie is a Senior at Dublin High School. In summer 2021, he determined a correlation between wind speed and direction against radiation counts from Dosenet's sensors. In summer 2020 he helped evaluate the accuracy of Dosenet's air quality sensors using Python. In his free time, he likes to swim and write, and is pursuing a career in the biomedical field.
Riddhish Saravanan
Riddhish is a rising freshman at Emerald High School, this summer he is working on interfacing with a variety of sensors using a IoT platform called Node-Red. In his free time he enjoys reading, watching documentaries, coding, and playing basketball.
Salma Lira
Salma is a physical science teacher in Oakland with a physics degree from UC Santa Cruz. She analyzed data between air quality and radiation levels for Radwatch during Summer 2020.
Sam Hunter
Sam is an undergraduate researcher focused on radiation data acquisition, analysis, and mapping. He hopes to earn his teaching credential within the next two years to pursue a career in science education. In his free time, he enjoys surfing with his friends in Santa Cruz and spending time with his family.
Samuel McClanahan
Samuel is an upcoming sophmore at Lowell High School, and is looking into new designs for portable environmental sensor systems. He is interested in data analysis, computer-aided design, and research.
Sanjitha Saravanan
Sanjitha is a second year at UC Davis studying mathematical analytics. She is currently assisting as a mentor for lab interns this summer and is passionate about data analytics. She enjoys reading and hiking in her free time.

My name is Shreyan Mitra and I’m a rising junior at California High School. This summer, at RadWatch, I’m working on building a drone-based system to map radiation. In general, I enjoy building things that combine hardware and code to build real, functional systems. Outside of that, I play guitar and love playing basketball with friends.

William Chen
William is a senior at The Quarry Lane School. He has developed software for mapping and data collection with portable DoseNet devices. Currently, he works on designs to integrate new sensors with DoseNet's systems.
Zainab Alyosha
Zainab is an aspiring student at UC Berkeley majoring in Energy Engineering, Zainab is passionate about promoting the widespread adoption of sustainable energy and leveraging her engineering skills to improve renewable energy production. She focuses on developing innovative technologies for efficient energy storage and is committed to minimizing environmental impact.
Zak Fares
Zak is a 4th year student at UC Merced, studying Computer Science & Engineering. He is interested in the databases and algorithms behind managing nuclear power and systems. This summer he hopes to learn practical skills and better understand what he might want to do after graduation when entering the work force.
