Kalie is a Nuclear Engineering PhD student. Her research is on 3D Compton image reconstruction using a free-moving gamma-ray detector and auxiliary contextual sensor package. In her free time, she likes to climb, paddleboard, hike, run, cook, and play tabletop games.
She manages the Twitter account (@UCBRadWatch), where she shares updates on what the group is up to and educational content. She also assists in educating the public on the radiation in our environment at public outreach events.
