He received his bachelor&#8217;s degree in Physics at Harvard College and his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of California Berkeley, where his dissertation was on the first successful use of a compact Compton telescope to image an astrophysical gamma-ray source.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Work with RadWatch:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Postdoctoral Fellow, Nuclear Engineering Department, University of California, Berkeley<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Research Focus:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mark worked on the development of aerial- and ground-based multisensor detector systems for standoff nuclear detection and background characterization, as well as the monitoring of environmental background radiation.
