\n Another amazing summer with our high school interns! <\/strong>\n <\/div>\n

\nOur summer students have the opportunity to learn and practice programming in Python and Javascript and explore our DoseNet data with the tools they develop. Each summer our students have made lasting contributions to the growth of our sensor network. During our first summer, students helped develop the initial software for integrating the air quality and CO2<\/sub> sensors that are now part of several network locations. Last summer students began exploring potential correlations between radiation and data from our other environmental sensors. That work is still being finalized by some of those students together with experts in our group.
\n
\nThis summer we had six students that have all done some amazing work for us. Albert and Edward helped to integrate GPS with the rest of the data our portable systems collect while Vaughn and Julia developed additional visualization tools that will allow us to compare data between measurements: look for future articles highlighting these contributions. Katrina helped us improve data visualization on the website (her new and improved graphics are now displayed on our Socio Ubicaciones<\/a> page). And finally, Likhit continued work from last year studying correlations in our data and his work will contribute to future articles describing our findings.<\/p>\n
